Fats and digestive comfort

Reconciliation with fat

Personally, for years we were told that fat was the enemy. We have been pushed towards 'low-fat' products, often loaded with sugar to compensate for the loss of taste. At 38, I finally made peace with natural fats. And what a revelation! Not only are they essential to our health, but they are also the key to regained digestive comfort. As a mother, I have seen the difference in myself and my family. Fat isn't what makes us sick, it's excess carbs combined with bad industrial fats. The return to nature changes everything.

This digestive comfort is a liberation. No more bloating, heaviness after a meal, or difficult digestion that weighs down the afternoon. By choosing good fats – olive oil, butter, avocado, quality animal fats – we nourish our digestive system instead of attacking it. We find a lightness and a fluidity that we thought was lost. Low-carb also means learning to listen to your stomach. And when the stomach is good, everything is good. It is the second brain of our body, and it deserves all our attention and respect.

True satiety

It's obvious: Fat provides something that sugar can never offer: true satiety. It is this feeling of fullness and satisfaction that allows us to stop thinking about food between meals. For an active mother, this is a huge gain in freedom. We are no longer the slave of our cravings. We eat, we are fed, and we move on. This stability allows us to be more present for our children, more concentrated in our work. Fat is the fuel of serenity. It grounds us in the present and gives us calm endurance.

My children feel it too. They no longer ask for snacks every two hours. They are calmer, more composed. We have found a healthy relationship with hunger. We eat when we need, not out of habit or boredom. Fat has become our ally for a more peaceful family life. We rediscover the pleasure of dense and tasty foods. A good butter sauce on steamed vegetables, a drizzle of olive oil on a crunchy salad. It's simple, it tastes good, and it's incredibly effective for our overall well-being.

Quality above all

Furthermore, of course, not all fats are equal. We favor raw, unprocessed fats. We avoid refined vegetable oils and trans fats. It’s an education in taste and quality. We learn to read labels, to choose our producers, to favor local and organic produce when possible. Low-carb makes us more demanding, and that's a great thing. We don't give anything to our bodies, nor to those of our children. We invest in products that benefit us. It is a form of respect towards oneself and towards nature.

This requirement is bearing fruit. Our skin is more beautiful, our hair shinier, our energy more stable. Fats are the builders of our cells, our hormones, our brain. By giving them their rightful place, we allow our body to function optimally. Digestive comfort is only the tip of the iceberg. Our entire health is being transformed in depth. Fat has once again become what it has always been: a treasure of life and deliciousness. A source of strength and inexhaustible pleasure.

The transmission of well-being

Therefore, ultimately, transmitting this vision means teaching my children to no longer be afraid of food. Show them that nature has done things well and that raw foods are our best friends. As a mom, it's my mission to protect them from misleading marketing messages. I teach them to trust their body and their feelings. They grow up with an acute awareness of what truly nourishes them. It is valuable knowledge for their future life. Low-carb is our foundation of health, and fat is its central pillar.

I will continue to share my discoveries, my recipes and my enthusiasm. Because I know that many people still suffer from the fear of fat. But the path to health passes through this reconciliation. My kitchen is a place to celebrate good fats and digestive comfort. For a fulfilled, strong and happy family. This is my fight, and this is my joy. Happiness is on the plate, and it is creamy, tasty and perfectly digestible. Welcome to my gourmet revolution!
