Lighter version of yassa, chicken marinated in lemon, onions and mustard, simmered until flavors concentrate and served without rice to remain low in carbohydrates.

Instructions
  1. Marinate chicken with lemon juice, mustard, salt pepper and half the onions for at least 1 hour.
  2. Sear chicken in oil and reserve.
  3. Return chicken to cover with water or broth and simmer for 20 minutes.

Tips
  • Serve with shredded cabbage or spicy salad for a low-carb side dish.
