Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Brown the onion and garlic in the hot oil for 2 minutes, then add the turmeric, cumin and ginger.
  2. Add the lentils and water, bring to the boil then reduce the heat and cook for 20 to 25 minutes until the lentils are tender.
  3. Season with salt, add fresh herbs and serve hot.
