Instructions

  2. Remove the meat, deglaze with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar, add the mustard and broth; return the meat and add the carrots around it.
  3. Cover and bake for 2 hours until tender; adjust the seasoning. Remove the meat and let the sauce reduce if necessary to concentrate the flavors.
  4. Serve the meat topped with sauce, accompanied by the candied carrots.
